Curriculum Vitae

Olga Jakobsen. I was born on 5 June 1973 in Merke, Kazakhstan.

Following a long and at times demanding university education (six years) and graduation from the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg I moved to Denmark in 2001. I married Jakob, and we started a family. I did various design work then, and over time I established my name as an artist - "Olga Jakobsen".

Now I sell my paintings and graphic designs for corporate customers in Funen. My textile designs are sold particularly to customers in the Benelux area, where I have af few business contacts.

I am a member of the Graphic Workshop of Funen in Odense, and I have chosen to continue working with the theme "Life and joy". I Appreciate the positive and affirmative impulses from living human beings and the colorful garden flora, which I try to depict in my works.

I aim at creating a visual experience that people can embrace while taking in the colours and delicate feminine strokes which is the essence of what my customers want from me.

When I do not paint, I am just Olga.
